Durham & Northumberland Colliery Fire & Rescue Brigade Cap Badge
This rare and very large ornamental badge was once mounted on the front of a crested black helmet (similar to the old style British firemen's helmets) worn by the members of the Durham & Northumberland Colliery Fire & Rescue Brigade (D & N C.F.R.B.). The central design is surrounded by a wreath of laurels.
