Browney Colliery Lodge Banner Appeal Badge
A new mining related enamelled badge has been brought out by the Browney Lodge Banner Action Group in County Durham. Sales of this limited edition of 500 badges will go to the Group's fund raising appeal to commission a replica Lodge Banner for Browney Colliery.
The badge which measures 29 mm by 28 mm wide, has a red background and depicts a miner. Legends around the upper rim of the badge read " " and below "A Fair Exchange".

Subject to confirmation badges will be available from the week commencing 5/11/01 and will be sold for £3.00 each. It is likely that their will be a large demand for these badges within the ex-mining communities of County Durham so anyone who would like to add one to their collections should not delay in contacting fellow NMMA member John Kitching.
