Can someone provide me with any information about the lamp shown above, its age, use plus the company that made it?

The lamp is by "Prima" of Birmingham in England.  It has a copper bonnet , no locking system and  is fitted with a single gauze. I would guess that its is possibly a type of "Radiator Lamp" which was not approved for mining.
